FAQs
-
Traditional saunas use hot air to warm the body, while infrared saunas use infrared light to penetrate the skin and heat the body from within. Infrared saunas are often considered to be more comfortable and provide a more targeted and effective therapy than traditional saunas.
-
While infrared saunas are generally considered to be safe for most people, it's important to understand that they can raise your body temperature significantly, which can cause dehydration and overheating if you're not careful. That's why it's crucial to follow our staff instructions carefully and take precautions to ensure that you're using the sauna safely.
One important precaution to take is to hydrate before and after your sauna session. Drinking plenty of water before entering the sauna can help prevent dehydration, while drinking water afterward can help replace any fluids lost through sweating. Additionally, it's a good idea to avoid alcohol or caffeine before or after your sauna session, as these can dehydrate your body and increase your risk of overheating.

When using an infrared sauna, it's important to keep in mind a few key considerations. Firstly, it's important to drink plenty of water before and after using the sauna to prevent dehydration. This is because infrared saunas can cause sweating, which can lead to a loss of fluids in the body.
It's also a good idea to start slowly if you're new to using an infrared sauna. This means starting with shorter sessions at lower temperatures and gradually building up to longer and hotter sessions over time. This can help your body adjust to the heat and reduce the risk of side effects such as dizziness or nausea.
The ideal length of time to spend in an infrared sauna can vary depending on your individual needs and preferences. Some people may prefer shorter sessions of around 15-20 minutes, while others may enjoy longer sessions of up to 45 minutes. However, it's generally recommended to limit your time in the sauna to no more than 45 minutes at a time to avoid overheating.
As for frequency, it's generally safe to use an infrared sauna several times a week. However, the exact frequency will depend on your individual needs and tolerance. Some people may find that they benefit from daily use, while others may prefer to use the sauna a few times a week. It's important to listen to your body and adjust your sauna use accordingly.
